First preliminary session of 9th Summit of ‘Mujahideen in Exile’ underway in Imam Reza shrine

The first preliminary session of the 9th Summit of Mujahideen in Exile has gotten underway in Imam Reza shrine, northeast Iran, with resistance scholars, leaders and activists in attendance.

Speaking in the session, which was held in the Prophet Courtyard of the shrine, Hoj Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari, director of International Pilgrims Affairs, said: “Although some countries are after normalizing relations with the Israeli regime, the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation has rendered their plots null and void”.
“The outcomes of the operation have clearly shown that the hearts of all free people across the world are with the oppressed people of Gaza”, he stressed.
Sheikh Hossein Qassem, one of the Lebanese resistance scholars, invoked a Quranic verse, saying: “Brotherhood is the slogan of the Muslim Ummah. However, some treasonous Islamic heads of state chose to remain silent towards the suffering of the Gazans. Not only do they not act brotherly, but they lie in broad daylight and treat the enemy differently”.
“In contrast, the performance of the resistance front and the bravery of its leaders in defense of the Palestinian cause are undeniable, and their martyrdom bears a witness to it”, he added.
The Palestinian resistance representative further commemorated the late Founder of the Islamic Republic and appreciated his efforts to support the liberation of Al-Quds.
Sheikh Hossein Qassem also commemorated martyred Lt. Gen. Soleimani, praising his sacrifices in defense of Palestine and against the Israeli regime.
The ‘9th Summit of Mujahideen in Exile’ will get underway in Damascus on June 8.
