Razavi Hospital provides nursing care for patients by 500 nurses

Some 500 professional nurses in different wards at Razavi Hospital take their greatest efforts and provide nursing care and offer medical services to hospitalized and outpatients every day.

Saeed Moushekaf, deputy chief of nursing management in Razavi Hospital, said: “Nurses at this hospital know they have to be best in terms of behavior with patients and their families because of the hospital’s connection to Imam Reza holy shrine. To achieve this goal, the employment committee of the shrine pays special attention to occupational ethics of the applicants in addition to their scientific knowledge”.
Moushekaf added: “Also, our nurses attend Jihadi camps of the hospital with the aim of providing free services for the underprivileged areas in Khorasan Razavi province. Our nurses participate in the programs of the educational and healthcare promotion unit to develop their abilities”.
Talking about workplace atmosphere at Razavi Hospital, Sara Farrokhrad, a 43-year-old nurse at general ICU of the hospital, said: “Since the day I started my job here, I always felt that I am one of the servants of Imam Reza. I think I am very lucky that in the profession in which I have knowledge and experience, I can help people under the umbrella support of the eighth Imam. This gives me a feeling of heartfelt satisfaction”.
She stressed: “Many patients come to this hospital with the intention of healing or Shifa. This pure intention of pilgrims and patients is a source of joy for us and it allows me to fulfill my role as a servant”.
Hossein Aghebatinia, a member of the nursing team in emergency ward of Razavi Hospital, also stated: “Working at this ward is always stressful; however, nurses always understand families’ concerns and stand by them. I had the opportunity to work in other hospitals, but I left them and came here to serve in Razavi Hospital because of my special interest in Imam Reza (AS)”.
