Forty exquisite works result of 40 years of research on holy shrines

Astan Quds Razavi’s Islamic Research Foundation has published 40 exquisite works of research on social studies related to the holy shrines in past 40 years, says Morteza Enferadi, head of Social Studies Department of the foundation.

Speaking on the occasion of the center’s 40th year of establishment he said conducting research on holy shrines has always been a key theme for the foundation. “Mausoleums of Prophets, Holy Shrines in Iran-Ottoman Ties, Najaf; Center for Shiism, Tombs of Family of Prophet (pbuh) of Islam, Karbala, Yesterday and Today, Iran’s Holy Shrines, Khajeh Rabie, and History of Imam Reza Holy Shrine are some of these precious research works”.
He added: “The department has also published some other works in the same field in Arabic language among which Marāqid wa-al-Maqāmāt al-Bahīyah fī al-Ḥillah al-Sayfīyah (Shrines and Beautiful Places in Hillah) can be referred to”.
Elsewhere, head of Social Studies Department at Islamic Research Foundation stated: “The Social Studies Department of the foundation defines its vision by taking inspirations from macro documents and foundation's statutes as well as policies set forth by the holy shrine’s custodian. It does all its missions by using capacity of experts and by making intra-organizational bonds as well”.
