The presence of a large number of people in this commemoration ceremony is a solid evidence of special attention people pay to religious scholars and all those who have their contributions to the promotion of religious culture”.
Elsewhere in this ceremony, Ayatollah Mohammadi Golpayegani delivered warm greetings of the Leader to the participants of the ceremony. “Hoj. Rashed Yazdi is a capable and committed orator whose constant struggle [against the despotic regime of Shah] led to his exile to Golpayegan and Iranshahr before the victory of the Islamic Revolution. When in Iranshahr, he made great friendship with Ayatollah Khamenei who had also been exiled to the city then”.
Ayatollah Golpayegani added: “Islamic publicity is actually an art and an artist is someone who knows how to speak to the people. God has given this blessing to Hoj. Rashed Yazdi in a way that he speaks to people with eloquence and his speech sits deep in the heart of his audience”.
As another speaker of the commemoration ceremony, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Alamolhoda, Friday prayer leader of Mashhad, said: “This ceremony is actually a commemoration of the position of clergymen and an appreciation of Ahl al-Bayt (AS)”.
Referring to deep faith as a great character of Rashed Yazdi, Ayatollah Alamolhoda added: “Another point characterizing this honorable teacher is this that he had no fear of anyone but God; this characteristic can be a model for all those who are active in the field of oration”.
He added: “Hoj. Rashed Yazdi’s speeches were always sweet and gentle, attracting many people”.
Speaking in the same ceremony, head of Islamic Ideology dissemination Organization (IIDO), Hoj. Mohammad Qomi, said: “This great ethics teacher conveyed the highest and most difficult religious themes in plain terms; his sessions were always crowded with people from different walks of life and age groups”.
Speaking on the sideline of this ceremony, Hoj. Rashed Yazdi said: “This ceremony is not for my commemoration, but a celebration and a commemoration of the position of the clergy. People have enthusiastically participated in this ceremony because of their interest in spirituality”.
Hoj. Rashed Yazdi added: “Tolerating people and loving them is the main reason behind my success. I have always served people to the best of my ability throughout my life because serving the people is one of the greatest acts of worship and one of the first recommendations of Islam”.
This ceremony which had Hoj. Marvi and a number of prominent figures from around the country in attendance came to an end by unveiling Hoj. Rashed Yazdi’s four-volume book of “Make Your Life Sweet”.
