A group of servants from Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad traveled to the cities of Homs and Damascus in Syria and Beirut in Lebanon to offer solace and assistance to the brave and resilient people of Lebanon.
During this visit, they distributed spiritual gifts and some 5,000 blankets donated by Karamat Razavi Foundation.
They also circulated the flag from the dome of Imam Reza shrine, along with blessed salt and sugar packages, house-to-house among the Lebanese people to alleviate their sufferings and remind them that they are under the protection of Imam Reza.
In another move, Iranian volunteer forces, along with the people of Lebanon, set up a kitchen to provide warm meals for the Lebanese refugees in Syria.
The servants also attended a ceremony held on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (Imam Hussein’s sister), the epitome of patience and resistance, in Syria.
They installed a covering adorned with precious jewels on the shrine of Hazrat Ruqayyah (Imam Hussein’s daughter), prepared by 20 female servants over the course of a year.
Speaking in the ceremony, a bereaved Lebanese expressed gratitude, saying, "On behalf of the Islamic Resistance Front, we welcome our dear brothers, the servants of Imam Reza shrine, and thank all the assistance from the Islamic Republic of Iran. No party, government, or organization like Iran preserves the authentic Islam of Prophet Muhammad, and this is due to the leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who represents Imam Mahdi".
Another Lebanese woman said, "The presence of the servants of Imam Reza shrine has brought a spiritual atmosphere to our gathering. We will stand by the Vilayat Faghih (Guardianship of the Jurisprudence) until our last breath and follow his commands".
