Following historic message of Ayatollah Khamenei over necessity of supporting Hezbollah by Muslim people, all lovers of Shia Islam found themselves as soldiers of Hezbollah. The event, called “The Flag Will not Fall”, was held at the Exhibition and Conference Center of the holy shrine.
Mahdi Enferadi, an artist from Mashhad, was drawing a portrait of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah with some flags of Lebanon and Palestine in which Sayyed Hassan was looking at the flags and giving spiritual power to the fighters of Hezbollah”.
Talking about his work of art, Enferadi said: “Creating this work, I wanted to sympathize with oppressed people of Gaza and Lebanon as every person in any profession must fulfill his mission in this field; I have tried to use my art to support the resistance front. I did my best to be a narrator of the oppression of people in Gaza and Lebanon with the language of art”.
Creating another piece of art on a painting canvas as another artist of the event, Seyyed Ahmad Pezhman said: “The name of the work is "Gate of reappearance" in which a map of the whole world is sitting on the canvas. In this work of art, I wanted to show that Gate of Reappearance in the midst of all darkness and hardships opens from Iran to all people of the world which attracts large flocks of nations toward itself”.
Pezhman added: “This work shows not only Palestine and Lebanon but also all countries of the world as every freedom-seeking person is affected and saddened by seeing this oppression”.
Also, in the same event, Hossein Razzaghi, a student of Master Farshchian, said: “I have kicked off a symbol work here. There are pictures of martyrs beside al-Aqsa Mosque in this work of art showing existence of these martyrs in the minds of Islamic Ummah for good”.
Razzaghi further noted: “All people of the world are thirsty for the truth and when a work of art with an international language is created, it creates thinking among world people. So, minds of wakeful people become clearer leading to final effect of art on people’s thought”.
Alireza Soufi, a participating calligrapher, said: “Participating in this event is an opportunity to fulfil call of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. Because he asked for supporting people of Gaza and Lebanon by any means. As a result, a group of artists participated in this event and did their duty toward these oppressed people”.
Mansoureh and Mahbubeh Javadipour as well as Soaibeh Parveen were three graphic artists participating in this event and creating art of inscriptions.
Mansoureh Javadipour, who is one of the members of this three-member artistic team, said: This inscription was prepared by scrutinizing national anthem of Lebanon which uses words such as roaring lion. In this artwork, we have combined Hezbollah symbols with those of Shia Muslims. In Shia culture, lion is a symbol of courage and this symbol has been written with the prayer of "Nad Ali" in this inscription”.
This art event was held for two days with participation of 40 artists in different fields including painting, imaging, graphic design, inscriptions, cartoons and caricatures as well as calligraphy and painting. Artists present in this event were happy and pleased that they have been able to take a step towards supporting resistance front with their art. They wanted authorities to create a space for the works produced in this event to be seen by the public.
To strengthen support of artists’ community from oppressed people of Lebanon and Gaza, Astan Quds Razavi has held an artistic event concurrent with the 40th day of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s martyrdom with 40 artists in attendance.
