Sonia Frei who has adopted Zahra Mehrabanfar as her new first and surname also said: “In the West, it seems there is freedom; however, when a modestly dressed woman enters society, many restrictions are imposed on her. For instance, a woman wearing an Islamic hijab cannot easily participate in university classes”.  
Zahra, who now wears a chador, was attracted to Islam when her instructor told Islam is the only religion recognizing real rights for women. Since then, she began research and study on Islam and spent weeks on reading and understanding verses of the Quran.
During “Pearl of Nobility” meeting held at Astan Quds Razavi’s Exhibition Center, this newly converted woman shared her experience of embracing Islam and choosing chador with other participants.
She added: “When I started studying the Quran and conducting research on Islam, those around me, especially my mother, were very worried and advising me to be careful. They warned me that Islam is a dangerous religion, and my response was that I was just learning about Islam. But after several years of research, I realized the truth of Islam and chose this religion for myself”.
Concluding her remarks, Zahra commented on the falsehood of the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom" used by the West, stating: “Their main aim with this slogan is to destroy the Islamic Republic because they know that Islam is a true religion and they understand that the flag of this revolution will eventually be in the hands of Imam Mahdi (AS). They are aware of this, and you, the people of Iran, are the forerunners of a divine government on Earth. That’s why they fear the Islamic Republic of Iran and want to annihilate it”.
