AQR unveils gluten-free bread, processed flour

For the first time in the country’s east, Quds Razavi Bread Company and Quds Razavi Flour Company have unveiled gluten-free bread and processed flour as two new health-focused products, in an international exhibition held on the occasion of Research and Technology Week.

Briefing the press on the sideline of the ceremony, deputy in charge of the affairs of companies’ affiliated to Astan Quds Razavi’s Endowment Productivity Foundation, Dr. Morvarid, said: “There is a focus on economic activities alongside boosting production, especially with an emphasis on knowledge-based products and innovative offerings. Our goal isn’t just to boost production quantitatively, but to create products that can help address some of the community's problems”.

Morvarid went on to say: “Quds Razavi Bread Company has started producing gluten-free bread with the approach of creating a product that tailors the needs of people with celiac disease. These patients did not have access to high-quality gluten-free bread on an industrial scale until now”.

He added: “This production on a commercial and industrial scale is carried out for the first time in the country. The initiative not only responds to the needs of these patients but also aligns with broader policies of Astan Quds Razavi to focus on knowledge-based and innovative productions”.

Also, Razavi Flour Company has announced mass production of its processed flour with no sugar which will come in two flavors: vanilla and chocolate. This product is suitable for diabetic patients and will be launched next month.
