Opening ceremony of Quranic event 'Fi Riḥāb Al-Quran' held at Imam Reza shrine

Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra, the inaugural ceremony of the first major Quranic event 'Fi Riḥāb Al-Quran' was held at Imam Reza shrine.

Under the auspices of the Office for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs and on the eve of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (Prophet Muhammad’s daughter), the opening ceremony of the first major Quranic event 'Fi Riḥāb Al-Quran' got underway in the Dar al-Marhama hall of Imam Reza shrine (northeast Iran).

Non-Iranian pilgrims from various Islamic countries attended the ceremony.

The event began with a traditional procession of Quran bearers, followed by an eloquent recitation of verses from Surah Al-Fath in honor of the victory of the Islamic resistance fighters.

Other highlights included eulogies, Quranic recitations and a performance by the multilingual choir of the shrine.

The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of the poster for the great Quranic festival of Imam Reza.

The 'Fi Riḥāb Al-Quran' event runs from Dec 22nd to Jan 2nd, with the closing ceremony, titled 'Martyrs of Resistance,' scheduled to coincide with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani on the International Day of Resistance (Jan 3) at the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi.
