Lamenting problems caused by frequent power cuts and their negative impacts on production, the CEO of Quds Razavi Flour Company said: “Unwanted production stoppages and disruptions in planning have led to delays in meeting customer needs, increased maintenance and repair costs, and damage to machinery”.
He further stated: “These problems have also resulted in reduced production capacity and dissatisfaction among customers”.
The CEO of the company added: “Rising electricity prices have further added to the existing pressures”.
He went on to discuss company's new initiatives to tackle these challenges, mentioning: “To reduce our reliance and to ensure a stable energy supply, we are looking to use solar energy as an alternative fuel. This move not only has the potential to cut costs but also helps maintain uninterrupted production and the sustainability of our operations”.
The initiative by Quds Razavi Flour Company could serve as a model for other industries challenging energy crises and moving towards sustainable development.
