According to Masoud Farzaneh, the CEO of Behnashr Publishing House, “The company has a long history of printing the Holy Quran, consistently meeting the demand of pilgrims and devotees”.
Behnashr focuses on four main areas of providing high-quality printed Qurans for pilgrims, publishing Quranic educational books for children, offering guidebooks for reading and recitation of the Quran, and reproducing exquisite works for sale in its bookstores.
“So far, Behnashr has printed 1.8 million copies of the Quran, featuring high-quality graphics, colorful printing, and clear and fluent translations”, the CEO added.
Approximately 15 more titles are currently in the works.
The publishing house has released about 30 complete versions and 8 selected types of the Quran, with calligraphy by masters like Yazdi, Neirizi, Uthman Taha, Mahdavi, Arsanjani, and Gholamali Esfahani.
The translations are provided by renowned scholars such as Ayat. Makarem Shirazi, Ayat. Meshkini, Ayat. Mahallati, Dr. Haddad Adel, Professor Mehdi Elahi Qomshe'i, and Professor Hossein Ansarian. These versions include diverse illuminations, fonts, and translations, with lines ranging from 7 to 16 per page, in various sizes and colors.
Recently, Behnashr published a practical Quran with a simple and quick understanding of the verses, translated by Hossein Ansarian.
The publication of a multi-volume Quran set is also underway.
Farzaneh expressed hope that “next year, the republishing of the Quran by Abdullah Renani, donated to the Museum of Quran and Rare Manuscripts by the Leader, will be completed in collaboration with other departments of the Scientific and Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi”.
Additionally, Behnashr plans to release the Quran written by renowned calligrapher Ahmad Neirizi and the seven-volume set of Quranic educational books for children titled "Razavi Blossoms", in cooperation with the Quranic Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi. These initiatives aim to enhance Quranic education and understanding among different age groups.
