Speaking at a grand and magnificent gathering of the people of Mashhad to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory, held at Imam Khomeini Portico of Imam Reza shrine, Ayat. Ahmad Marvi stated that Muslims adhering to the teachings of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad will never be intimidated by enemy threats.
“Enemies have recently raised the issue of negotiations, but their main goal is to deceive public opinion and halt the country's economy, industry, and everyday affairs. They aim to tie all the country's affairs to negotiations and suspend everything for several years”, Ayat. Marvi remarked.
He added: “We have experienced this once before, spending two years engaged in negotiations and tying everything to it, but ultimately, what did we achieve besides wasting time and losing opportunities?”
He emphasized that the cruel and oppressive enemies have shown no mercy to Iran, its people, or its revolution, referencing Imam Khomeini's statement that "America is the Great Satan."
“How one can negotiate with Satan or expect loyalty and commitment from the Satan? If the Satan is loyal, then America can be trusted too”, the custodian questioned.
Ayat. Marvi continued: “The enemy seeks to achieve unilateral concessions by raising people's expectations and creating a psychological atmosphere in society. However, we must understand that the concessions the enemy seeks are nothing but stripping away the principles and values of the Islamic Revolution”.
He stressed: “Nuclear weapons and missiles are just excuses; what terrifies global arrogance are the values and principles of the Islamic Revolution. These values and principles have awakened Muslims worldwide. We did not awaken Gaza with our missiles; we revived the spirit of resistance in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen with our principles, values, and slogans. This is what the enemy fears”.
Ayat. Marvi underscored that the enemy is after taking away our identity— “the very identity for which the Islamic Revolution was culminated and the values for which we stand. We must not be deceived by the enemy's alluring slogans and deceitful face. According to the wise and vigilant leader of the Islamic Revolution, there are hidden iron paws underneath the enemy's velvet gloves”.
The custodian of Astan Quds Razavi concluded his remarks by saying, “Just as we have achieved remarkable progress in certain scientific and industrial fields by relying on domestic capabilities and ignoring the enemy, we must continue this approach in all areas. Officials must prioritize the wise guidance of the leadership with unity and empathy, leading to the country's dignity, independence, and progress. Only in this way can we withstand the enemy's conspiracies and secure a bright future for our nation”.

Past experiences have shown that linking the economy to negotiations is a mistake, as the country's progress, development, independence, and dignity rely on internal capabilities, not on trusting and pinning hope on the enemy, stated the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR).
