Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari, the deputy for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs, detailed the program in an interview, saying: “The event took place at Dar al-Rahmah Portico of Imam Reza shrine with some 30 female memorizers from Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan in attendance”.
He emphasized that the ceremony, organized to honor the Holy Quran and strengthen solidarity among Muslims worldwide, featured the harmonious recitation of the first part of Quran by the female memorizers.
“The program is not only a symbol of Islamic unity but also a manifestation of Astan Quds Razavi's international efforts in spreading Quranic knowledge among non-Iranian pilgrims”, Hoj. Zolfaghari continued.
Highlighting the cultural and religious mission of the office, he stated: “The presence of female memorizers from various countries demonstrates the greatness of the Quran as a unifying axis of the Islamic Ummah. Ramadan is an opportunity to keep the spirit of faith and brotherhood alive in our hearts through the recitation of divine verses”.
The deputy concluded his remarks by saying that various programs centered around the Holy Quran, featuring international memorizers, are planned throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
