Briefing the press over the event, Jamal Rostamzadeh, cultural publicity manager of Astan Quds Razavi, said: “This is the first student gathering which is held by over three thousand male and female students from Imam Hussein (AS) schools, organized in collaboration with Islamic Publicity Department of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
Rostamzadeh added: “The goal behind holding this gathering is to create a heartfelt and intellectual connection between Iranian new generation and the oppressed people of Palestine, and also to teach such values as resistance and standing against oppression”.
The schoolchildren showed that even with small hearts, one can carry the greatest messages of humanity, loyalty, empathy, and awakening.
Students put their signatures on a scroll named after Palestinian child martyrs, with hands dipped in red paint to demonstrate their sense of responsibility and to pay homage to these oppressed children. The ceremony came to end with performance of the Gaza choir, with enthusiastic participation of students.

A large number of schoolchildren from across Mashhad chant in support of innocent people of Gaza in a gathering at Imam Reza holy shrine’s Quds courtyard.
