Under the auspices of the Religious Consultation Office, the Nasim Rezvan application now features a specialized section called Hard-of-Hearing Services, available on Thursdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
Through this platform, users can submit their questions via sign language video or video calls and receive guidance from experts.
According to Hoj. Mahmoud Ameri, head of the Religious Consultation Office, the initiative launched early April has received positive feedback. “Individuals with hearing impairments face significant challenges in understanding jurisprudential concepts due to abstract terminology and complex phrasing. To address this, specialized content has been adapted for accessibility, ensuring that key religious principles are effectively conveyed”.
The initiative represents a crucial step in expanding religious accessibility at Imam Reza shrine, aiming to increase awareness and participation among the hearing-impaired community.
As part of the collaboration between the Welfare Organization and Astan Quds Razavi, two key measures have been implemented: first, the development of customized educational clips, and second, the introduction of live online consultations for religious inquiries.
Hoj. Ameri concluded his remarks by highlighting the significance of this project in promoting equal access and empowering the hearing-impaired community. “We hope that the continued outreach efforts would encourage more individuals to benefit from the program, reinforcing social responsibility through inclusive religious services”.

In an effort to provide inclusive religious services, Imam Reza shrine has launched an online platform for hearing-impaired individuals to receive expert responses to their religious inquiries.
