Speaking at the commemoration ceremony for the first anniversary of martyr Raeisi and his companions, Brigadier General Hossein Salami said: “Martyr Raeisi was a self-made person and a role model in foreign policy. He was always connected to Wilayat and considered himself as executor of thoughts of the Supreme Leader.”
IRGC chief also commemorated martyred pilots Seyyed Taher Mostafavi and Behrouz Ghadimi, and martyr Malek Rahmati, the late governor of East Azerbaijan, saying: “These proud martyrs spent their lives serving the country and for the glory and honor of the Iranian nation”.

Stating that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons, Salami emphasized: “This decision is based on the religious and political beliefs of the Islamic Republic. But know that Iran has a high deterrent power against any threat and will not back down from its vital right”.
Commander-in-chief of IRGC concluded: “The US has a bitter experience of its interventions in the region. Today, it should not get involved in another endless war with its tired army, crisis-ridden economy, and dissatisfied public opinion. However, know that Iran is ready for any scenario”.
