Cultural heritage associated with Imam Reza holds global potential: AQR’s Official

The Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR) is working to expand the global presence of cultural heritage associated with Imam Reza through strategic translation and publication efforts.

Hassan Aram, Deputy for Promotion and Social Engagement at the foundation, emphasized the importance of making Imam Reza-related cultural heritage internationally accessible.
The foundation signed an agreement with the Center for Organizing Translation and Publishing of Islamic Teachings and Humanities to facilitate the translation and distribution of selected books on pilgrimage, interfaith dialogue, Imam Reza, and Islamic sciences.
Among the works included is Imam Reza: The Knowledgeable Personality of Ahl al-Bayt, which has been translated and published in Serbian language.
Additionally, 57 titles in English, Arabic, and Urdu are showcased at the 36th Tehran International Book Fair.
The foundation has participated in international exhibitions in Oman, Qatar, and other countries, receiving strong engagement from Arabic-speaking audiences.
“The cultural heritage associated with Imam Reza holds immense global potential and should be utilized for worldwide promotion of Imam Reza’s culture”, Aram noted.
The foundation is prioritizing interfaith dialogue, aiming to position Mashhad as the capital of interfaith dialogue by drawing inspiration from Imam Reza’s historical debates.
Future publications will cater to Persian Gulf audiences by integrating art with Islamic culture, with 40% of its Arabic-language book fair offerings having artistic themes.
A collection of 32 themes from Nahj al-Balagha has also been processed and is ready for international distribution.
