Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, Mir-i-Arab Madrasah in Bukhara plan more cooperation

High level delegation of Astan Quds Razavi’s Scientific and Cultural Foundation meet officials, professors and students of ancient Mir-i-Arab Madrasah in Bukhara, discussing future cooperation over religious sciences.

In this meeting, Hoj. Emami, deputy chancellor for educational affairs of Razavi University of Islamic Sciences introduced the university as an academic center with focus on seminary lessons and an approach to training capable religious scholars, in line with expanding interactions in religious sciences and dialogue between Islamic denominations.
He also said: “Studies of Muhyiddini mysticism and Sufism, conducting deep and specialized studies in the field of Muhyiddini mysticism and Sufism, and conducting comparative studies on various fields of Islamic sciences are among Razavi University of Islamic Sciences routine activities”.
Also, in the same meeting, Hoj. Seyyed Jalal Hosseini, head of Astan Quds Razavi’s Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Document Center, pointed to scientific and research capacities of Astan Quds Razavi as a suitable opportunity, saying: “This capacity is very great for the convergence of educational centers in Islamic countries while moving towards approximation of Islamic viewpoints and denominations”.
Emphasizing full support of Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documents Center in providing textbooks and educational resources Hoj Hosseini further added: “These collaborations can be an important step towards strengthening unity and scientific exchange between seminary and university centers in the Islamic world”.
Finally, the two sides agreed upon holding joint sessions and conferences between academics and professors of the two centers.
