The 4th International Congress of Imam Reza (AS) and Modern Sciences will be held with a focus on Islamic education and family, attracting global participation.

“The upcoming International Congress of Imam Reza (AS) and Modern Sciences, scheduled for May 28, coincides with National Marriage Day, marking the anniversary of the marriage of Imam Ali and Hazrat Fatima,” says Dr. Ebrahim Daneshifar, acting president of Imam Reza International University (IRIU).
The congress has received overwhelming interest from scholars worldwide, with 600 research papers submitted from five continents. The organizing committee is currently reviewing the submissions.
This year’s congress features 48 pre-sessions held across 23 provinces and 170 cities, engaging scholars and researchers from diverse backgrounds. International participation has expanded significantly, with 53 papers submitted by scholars from 14 countries.
The academic and executive team includes Hoj. Dr. Moadab, the permanent scientific secretary of the congress, and Dr. Jamileh Alamolhoda, who will oversee the educational sciences section. Dr. Nematollah Firouzi, a faculty member at IRIU, serves as the executive secretary.
The congress aims to deepen discussions on Islamic education and family, with selected papers published in Imam Reza Journal and translated into multiple languages for international dissemination.
Key topics include educational sciences, psychology, behavioral studies, family counseling, and spiritual health.
According to Dr. Firouzi, “The congress enjoys a global reach, with participants from Latin America, Asia, Africa—including Tunisia and Algeria—and Europe in attendance”.
According to him, many attendees have a strong understanding of Iranian culture.
Prominent scholars and media figures will also attend, including Dr. Hadi Saeedi, a professor of educational sciences, who will deliver the opening speech. Religious scholars and media professionals, such as Zainab Jaber from Al-Manar, will contribute as well.
The congress will feature innovative research on Imam Reza’s teachings, including discussions on artificial intelligence, digital media, and emerging technologies.
The organizing committee has responded to over 12,000 inquiries and sent 1,800 emails to academics in 30 countries.
Special awards will be presented to emerging researchers, graduate students, and contributors from the Imam Reza’s community.
