Iraqi scholars, AQR senior official insist on further academic collaborations

A delegation of Iraqi academics and researchers met with Hoj. Mostafa Faqih Esfandiari, Deputy for International Affairs at Astan Quds Razavi (AQR), to discuss Islamic scholarship and spiritual knowledge.

A group of professors, intellectuals, and researchers from Iraq’s academic institutions paid a visit to the office of AQR’s Deputy for International Affairs to discuss the spiritual status of the Imams and the necessity of deepening knowledge about them.
During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of understanding the divine position of the Ahl al-Bayt and how this awareness influences Islamic lifestyle and personal development.
They highlighted that pilgrimage to the Imams should be rooted in profound knowledge and recognition, ensuring that it contributes meaningfully to shaping a correct Islamic way of life.
The discussions also explored the role of scholarly exchange in strengthening religious understanding, with both sides expressing interest in furthering academic collaborations between Iraqi institutions and Astan Quds Razavi.
