Uzbek academics participate in IRIU Persian language teacher training course

A group of Persian language professors at Samarkand University and Oriental Studies of Tashkent are to participate in a Persian language teacher training course at Persian Language Training Center of Imam Reza International University in Mashhad, says Amir Saeed Karami, cultural counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tashkent.

Karami made the remark in a meeting with director of international affairs of Imam Reza International University, saying: “The decision was made upon proposal of Imam Reza University’s officials and request of a group of Persian language professors from these two universities to undergo advanced training courses in the field of Persian language teaching”.
Dr. Karami added: “Necessary diplomatic and consular coordination to facilitate this process is being carried out by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tashkent”.
The move is carried out following fruitful trip of officials of Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi to Uzbekistan and inking bilateral agreements during that trip.
A few days ago, a group of experts and managers from departments affiliated to the Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi traveled to Uzbekistan with the aim of expanding scientific and cultural cooperation with cultural centers and institutions in Uzbekistan.
