Imam Reza Intl. Media Festival concludes with celebration of innovation, excellence

The 4th Imam Reza International Media Festival honors top contributors, highlights new approaches to promoting Imam Reza’s culture.

The closing ceremony of the 4th Imam Reza International Media Festival was held in Mashhad, northeast Iran, with senior media executives, communication scholars, and cultural servants of Astan Quds Razavi in attendance. 
The event recognized outstanding contributions in various media categories, showcasing the festival’s growing impact on promoting Imam Reza’s teachings.
Mohsen Houshmand, head of Astan Quds Razavi’s Communications and Media Center, praised dedication of media professionals in spreading the values of Imam Reza, emphasizing, “The collaboration with leading communication scholars who served as jury members throughout the festival’s four editions has been significant”.
The ceremony featured a visual report on the festival’s achievements and honored winners across three main categories: news and analytical media, audio-visual productions, and digital platforms. 
Top entries included news reports, interviews, features, headlines, opinion pieces, radio and television programs, short films, animations, podcasts, and social media campaigns.
Among the winners were journalists from national newspapers and news agencies, radio and television producers, filmmakers, and digital content creators. 
Notable works addressed themes such as Imam Reza’s identity, cultural heritage, and social service.
Speaking in the event, Dr. Akbar Nasrollahi, the festival’s scientific secretary, described the festival as a turning point in using modern media formats to convey Imam Reza’s lifestyle values, highlighting, “The integration of motion graphics, digital storytelling, and hybrid podcasts to engage younger audiences was unprecedented in this round”.
Nasrollahi also noted the increased participation of women and shrine servants compared to previous editions. 
“The festival owes its success to the blessings of Imam Reza, the dedication of media professionals, and the support of Astan Quds Razavi’s leadership”, he pointed out.
He concluded his remarks by describing the festival as more than a media event—rather, “a heartfelt journey inspired by the compassion of Imam Reza”. 
The ceremony ended with expressions of gratitude to all contributors and organizers who made the event possible.
