Azeri-speaking women, special guests of shrine’s Ghadir celebrations

A group of Azeri-speaking women and pilgrims become special guests of Imam Reza holy shrine’s "Gohar-e Wilayah" celebratory program held on the eve of Eid- al-Ghadir grand festivity.

The program, which was held under the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs, Ms. Zahra Hossein Ava, a speaker and religious expert from Republic of Azerbaijan, discussed pivotal role of women in explaining, promoting, and preserving line of Wilayah of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) for the participants.

At the beginning of her speech among the attendees, Ms. Ava referred to the exalted personality of Imam Hadi (AS), saying: “The Imam is a paragon of silence in times of oppression. The spiritual legacy of that Imam (AS), Jame'ah Kabirah supplication, is a comprehensive charter for understanding position of Wilayah of Ahl al-Bayt (AS)”.

She further introduced women as pillars of Wilayah in the history of Islam and stated: “Women play a significant role in raising a generation loyal to Wilayah”.

Ava noted: “Women loyal to Wilayah and revolutionary women must always support Wilayah like Hazrat Zahra (SA) because if a woman remains silent, the light of Wilayah will be extinguished, and if a woman speaks, it will remain alive and steadfast”.

It is worth mentioning that performing joyful cultural programs including eulogy and singing Eid hymns were among other programs of the "Gohar-e Wilayah" celebration at Imam Reza holy shrine.
