Tehran University of Medical Sciences runs five new majors at al-Sabtain Uni

Tehran University of Medical Sciences has run five new majors of rehabilitation at Karbala’s al-Sabtain University, says Ahmad Reza Khatoonabadi, head of school of rehabilitation at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Highlighting the move as the most important incident of the last Persian year, Khatoonabadi said: “The promotion began with Physiotherapy; we hope to continue the development in coming months”.

He added: “Thanks to the endeavors of all members of the school, we are now in a very good situation and we hope to be able to consolidate our international activities in the new Persian year more than before”.

Khatoonabadi went on to say: “We could give rehabilitation services directly and with more independence in last Persian new year”.

Elsewhere in his remarks, head of school of rehabilitation stressed: “The school of rehabilitation operates in the field of community-based services as well. Our product-oriented researches help the society with the solution of their problems. I hope we will be able to see a good improvement in education, research, clinical and international areas in the near future”.
