Scientific committee of Imam Reza Intl. Congress explores improvements

Scientific committee of Imam Reza International Congress has held a session in the presence of university elites and cultural activists to explore paths for additional improvements of the event.

Among various speakers of the session, head of Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Imam Reza holy shrine, Abdolhamid Talebi, said: “This congress has got a great scientific record. The main concern of the scientific committee is to continue the scientific aspect perfectly; its level should not be lower than that of previous years”.

Talebi added: “Revival of Razavi school of thought is the main goal of the congress; emphasis on Razavi school of thought must be main focus of attention when arranging the congress”.

He went on to say: “Some memoranda of understandings have been signed to expand audience of the event as well”.

As another speaker of the session, Ahad Faramarz Gharamaleki, head of Islamic Research Foundation and scientific secretary of the congress, said: “For the past several years, Imam Reza shrine has held a congress entitled “Imam Reza International Congress” at the highest possible level. There was an interruption in its continuation for several years but it was revived last year”.

Ayatollah Abdkhodaei, member of scientific board of the congress, stated: “Topics of the congress must be in line with needs of the day so that the congress can be more effective”.

Discovering discourse of Imam Reza (AS), dealing with the subject of science, lifestyle, as well as scientific and spiritual health, cooperation with the Egyptian Research Center, Imamate and justice, moral education, Vilayat as an example of policy and power planning, and creating a new model of governance were some other suggestions offered by other participants of the session.

It is worth mentioning that seven pre-congress events will be held under the main congress. These events will cover various topics related to society, politics, ethics, economy and family.
