According to Atabe News, the program was held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., with the aim of familiarizing students and their families with astronomy and observational instruments. During the special event, participants observed the Moon and Saturn through professional telescopes and learned about the wonders of the night sky and methods of celestial navigation.

The “Stargazing Nights” series is held throughout the year on starry nights by the Imam Reza (AS) Research Center, providing students and their families with opportunities to explore the world of astronomy.

In addition to its stargazing programs, the research center also holds a Moon-sighting program on the first night of every lunar month at the country’s largest student observatory.
