According to Atabe News, engineer Mohammad Shahinpour, referring to the construction project in Baratabad, Fariman County, said the solar power plant is being built on a 4,000-square-meter site. It is designed to supply electricity to agricultural wells and connect to the national power grid.
He added that the project is being implemented with private-sector participation and an investment of 300 billion tomans, and has so far achieved 75% physical progress. According to the current schedule, the plant is expected to become operational by late November 2026.
Emphasizing the importance of expanding renewable energy in agriculture, the CEO described the project as a step toward harnessing solar energy, helping meet the electricity needs of agricultural activities, and developing sustainable infrastructure across the endowments managed by Astan Quds Razavi.
Shahinpour noted that private-sector participation in infrastructure projects can help make more effective use of available resources and capacities, and contribute to advancing the development plans of Astan Quds Razavi’s endowments.
