In a ceremony held in Khatoun Garden in the city of Mashhad, northeast Iran, some goods such as rice and bottled water were packed and prepared to be distributed among Arbaeen charity stations.
According to Ostad Agha, chairman of the foundation, “Under the aegis of Imam Reza shrine, some 55 charity stations have been set up in the Iraqi cities of Samarra, Kadhimiya, Najaf, Karbala, etc. Also, some 35 stations have been staged inside of Iran, in the towns of Mehran, Shalamcheh, Chazzabeh, Damghan, Hamedan, etc. to provide medical services and food to the pilgrims undertaking the Arbaeen march”.
The head of Karamat Razavi Foundation continued that the Red Crescent Society distributed some necessary and common medications among the Mokebs or charity stations.
“Five Arbaeen stations have been allocated in Khorasan Razavi Province to provide services to Pakistani pilgrims”, added Ostad Agha.
These stations will provide three daily meals, cultural and medical services, etc. to the pilgrims.
