Imam Reza Intl. Univ., among top-ranking non-governmental centers in Iran

Based on the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC), Imam Reza International University (IRIU) has ranked 2nd among Iran’s non-governmental higher education centers in research section.

In a ceremony to cherish outstanding researchers of the university, the research deputy of the center, Dr Qassem Sadeghi Bajestani, said: “The ranking by ISC has taken into account four indices of research, education, technology and innovation, and internationalization”.

As for research projects by the faculty members of IRIU over the past three years, he noted: “Some 60 articles in JCR, 43 articles in WOS & Scopus magazines, some 147 articles in the magazines of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, etc. have been published”.

He further pointed to other activities by the research and technology section of the university, stating: “holding Imam Reza & Today’s Science International Congress, International Congress of Applying Engineering for Future Iran-Iraq Ties, etc. have been some of the activities over the past few years”.
