In a message after the martyrdom of President Raeisi and his companions in a chopper crash in Northwest Iran on Sunday May 19, Hoj Ahmad Marvi, the Custodian of Imam Reza shrine expressed his condolences to Imam Mahdi (May God Hasten His Reappearance), Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the Iranian nation.

“Martyr Ayat Raeisi spent his life tirelessly to serve the people and the Islamic Republic. He has been a perfect example of Ahl al-Bait followers, a fervent lover of Imam Reza and a kind comrade for the Leader”, said Hoj Marvi in his message.

The custodian continued that martyrdom on the eve of Imam Reza’s birth anniversary was a gift for years of endless efforts to serve Islam and Muslims.

“Today, the Iranian nation is mourning the martyrdom of the president and his companions; however, their selfless services will never be deleted from people’s memory”, concluded Hoj Marvi.
