Meeting Astan Quds Razavi’s deputy for international affairs in Imam Reza shrine, Arizi referred to capacities and opportunities of Astan Quds Razavi, saying: “Salient Sufist Sunni Muslims from Indonesia can be invited to Imam Reza holy shrine and some joint conferences can be organized with the purpose of introducing Imam Reza (AS)”.
He added: “Constructive ties can be followed between Astan Quds Razavi’s officials and their counterparts in Indonesian tombs; revival of Imam Mohammad Ghazali’s tomb can be followed as well”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Arizi referred to the process of his conversion. “I started publicizing Shia Islam in Nusantara when I became a Shia Muslim. I founded several Islamic institutes there which are now hosting hundreds of children, teenagers, and university students in different fields of study”.
Arizi converted to Islam following three years of research and under the influence of Imam Khomeini’s personality at the age of 16.
