Islamic Research Foundation to attain new technologies

A scientific meeting dubbed ‘Cybernetic Governance’ got underway in Imam Reza shrine (northeast Iran) under the auspices of the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR).

Dr. Mohammadreza Saghamanesh, a faculty member of Imam Hossein University, discussed cybernetic governance during a meeting at Sheikh Tousi Hall of the Islamic Research Foundation.
He emphasized Iran's journey into the cyber realm and the importance of governance in cyberspace.
“Proper information flow management is crucial in shaping public opinion. Given the vastness of cyberspace, specific requirements are necessary”, the expert highlighted.
Dr. Saghamanesh emphasized the need for technology in the humanities, which “must be updated and expanded to meet the needs of cyberspace”.
Outlining the opportunities effective cyber management provides for the researchers, he said it enables them to explore new fields and organize activities based on insights gained from understanding social realities.
Elsewhere in the meeting, Dr. Ahad Faramarz Gharamaleki, the Head of the Islamic Research Foundation, stated: “Cybernetic governance intersects with several topics the foundation is involved in. Since October, a series of philosophical meetings addressing philosophy and governance have been organized”.
Dr. Gharamaleki noted that cybernetic governance is a profound and rapid transformation in human life, changing the concept of human existence.
“The humanities must play a unique role in guiding cybernetic governance. Cyberspace is significant for the humanities in general and for technology in particular”, he explained.
He further emphasized the importance of transitioning from defense to offense in cognitive warfare. Accordingly, “the foundation published ‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’, highlighting global Zionist conspiracies”.
Dr. Gharamaleki pointed to the foundation’s various activities in advancing new technologies in the humanities, hoping for continued collaboration and cooperation from researchers.
