Imam Reza Shrine hosts intl. programs during Ramadan

Under the auspices of the Deputy Office for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, various programs have been organized for non-Iranian pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan.

This year, as in previous years, the Deputy Office for Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs has prepared diverse international programs for Arabic-speaking and Urdu-speaking pilgrims as well as those coming from Central Asia and Europe to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
For Arabic-speaking pilgrims, daily recitation of a part of the Holy Quran by reciters from the Quran Department of Imam Reza Shrine, recitation of different prayers, explanations of religious rules, a service desk by Hoj. Sheikh Aqil Hajian, spiritual lectures, and special ceremonies for Nights of Destiny (Qadr Nights, Ramadan 19, 21, 23) have been organized.
For Urdu-speaking pilgrims, the programs include daily recitation of a part of the Holy Quran by reciters from the Quran Sciences Department, recitation of Ziyarat (pilgrim’s prayer) of Imam Reza, celebration of the birth of Imam Hassan, a specialized meeting on Quds Day, answering religious questions, educational speeches, and special ceremonies for Nights of Destiny.
Additionally, for pilgrims from Central Asia and Europe, the office will host live English programs focusing on Quranic knowledge and Ramadan events on the Astan Quds Razavi Instagram page.
