The screens are to broadcast live images and ceremonies and also to inform pilgrims about cultural and religious programs in courtyards and porticos of the holy shrine. Preventing pilgrim overcrowding at indoor areas of the complex is another goal behind installing the large screens.
The project uses 50 fixed and temporary screens of 8 to 10 square meters in size.
Five mobile large screens were also moved to suitable locations in the outer rings of the holy shrine. Also, 11 places were designated for installation of fixed screens. Other screens will also be installed appropriately during various occasions throughout the year.
All installation, assembling, and technical support phases of these screens are carried out under the supervision of experts and technicians from the Organization for Construction and Maintenance of the Holy Shrine.
