Feizi said: “Large community of servants and staff of Astan Quds Razavi has been preparing to serve pilgrims for two major occasions of Ramadan and Nowruz since last two months”.

He went on to say: “This year that the New Year coincides with the month of Quran we experience spring within spring. Based on the emphases made by the chief custodian of Imam Reza holy shrine, we have prepared various programs centered around these two significant occasions”.

He mentioned recitation of Quran as the most important focus of activities during the holy month of Ramadan, adding: “Recitation of Quran, in various forms, takes place in different sessions, starting from before the morning prayer and continuing until late at night”.

Deputy custodian of Imam Reza holy shrine announced readiness of the organization for practicing New Year ceremonies, stating: “Like in previous years, we face maximum number of pilgrims at the turn of New Year; we are fully ready to host pilgrims and people of Mashhad during these magnificent moments”.

He further referred to the iftars of the holy shrine, saying: “Pilgrims and residents are guests of iftar tables of Imam Reza (AS) during Ramadan. We held the largest iftar meal on the night of birth anniversary of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS). Distribution of iftar packs will continue until the end of Ramadan both inside and outside the complex”.
