AQR library, Uzbekistan’s Alisher Navoi foundation sign MoU

Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi and Alisher Navoi International Foundation of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of understanding for further scientific and cultural cooperation.

The bilateral agreement was signed in Uzbekistan by Hoj. Seyyed Jalal Hosseini, head of Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi, and Dr. "Alamjan Davlatov", head of Alisher Navoi International Foundation, with the aim of utilization of capacities, facilities, and scientific services of both sides.
Speaking about this agreement, Hoj. Hosseini stated: “The purpose behind signing this agreement is to exchange scientific experiences in the fields of artifact restoration, cataloging, digitization of manuscripts and lithographic and lead-type printed books”.
Also, Dr. Davlatov considered fruitful trip of scientific and cultural delegation of Astan Quds Razavi as a breakthrough in scientific and cultural relations between the two countries and attributed it to the results of discussions between high-ranking officials of the two countries.
Head of the Alisher Navoi foundation added: “Learning about the valuable cultural gifts and interactions of this delegation, the president of Uzbekistan praised the efforts”.
The AQR delegation traveled to Uzbekistan at the invitation of Alisher Navoi International Foundation, visiting various scientific and cultural centers in the Central Asian country.
