Iran has policy of justice against oppression, Shiaphobia: imam

A Friday Prayer imam from Buenos Aires says Iran has a justice-oriented policy in a world infested with oppression and injustice.

Speaking on the sidelines of an international summit for outstanding Shia lecturers in Imam Reza shrine in northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, Abdul Karim Pas noted that Islam, in general, and Shia, in particular, grew in the face of a dark and crime-riddled world, and “we’ll witness peace and love spread throughout the globe very soon”.

“The more we are concerned with the issue of Karbala, the more success we will gain in revealing the oppression against Imam Hussein and his companions to the world”, said the religious preacher.

He expressed that holding such an event at Imam Reza shrine with a lot of Islamic preachers in attendance and a large turnout was a great move.

Pas pointed to Shia international achievements, saying: “The victory of Shia Muslims in the ۱۹۷۹ Islamic Revolution in Iran under the late Imam Khomeini’s leadership was a big victory. It has been the will of God and indicative of His greatness, and has had immense influence on the world in the past ۴۴ years”.

He stressed that Iran’s justice-oriented policy in an oppression-infested world paved the way for Islam and Shia Muslims to grow, hoping that the world would soon witness peace, love and friendship.

The religious preacher concluded his remarks by talking about activities underway by Shia Muslims in Argentina, stating: “The Shia Muslims are very active in Argentina, especially after the Islamic Revolution. There are thousands of Shia Muslims in the South American country to preach Islam and introduce Prophet Muhammad’s Infallible Household besides holding religious ceremonies”.
