IRIU to participate in 1st event of ‘Role of AI, new services to pilgrims of holy shrines’

Imam Reza International University (IRIU) will actively participate in the first event dubbed ‘Role of AI and new services to pilgrims of holy shrines’ as a scientific judging authority for articles and a member of the policy-making council.

Speaking in an interview during the preliminary session of the conference at the Shrine of Abdul Azim Hassani, Dr. Qassem Sadeghi Bajestani, the Deputy of Research and Technology at IRIU, who is also the scientific secretary of the conference, stated: “The main conference will soon be held by Astan Quds Razavi in collaboration with the National Center for Cyberspace, the AI Caucus of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and other holy shrines across the country”.
He outlined the eight main themes of the event, including: "AI; fundamental philosophical, ethical, and jurisprudential studies in holy shrines," "AI; governance and future studies in holy shrines," "AI; development of endowments, vows, and public participation in holy shrines," and "AI; security and defense in holy shrines."
The member of the policy-making council added: "AI; service provision, management of holy places in holy shrines," "AI; promotion and dissemination of Ahl al-Bayt teachings in holy shrines," "AI; health and wellness of pilgrims in holy shrines," and "AI; development of technology and knowledge boundaries in holy shrines" are other themes of this national conference.
It is noteworthy that the first round of the event  will be held in the first half of 2025, and those interested can submit their works on the eight announced themes to the conference secretariat.
