Ramadan programs broadcast on 30 radio, television, intl. networks from Imam Reza shrine

The Ramadan season is bringing diverse media productions from Imam Reza Shrine, reaching audiences worldwide through over 30 radio, television, and international networks.

The media studios, located above the courtyards with views of the dome and minarets, have hosted numerous national and international religious broadcasts.
These productions are not merely media events but serve as a bridge connecting the hearts of Imam Reza’s devotees with their Imam.
According to Mohsen Houshmand, Head of the Communications and Media Center of Astan Quds Razavi, “For Ramadan and Nowruz 1404 (2025) programs, the content, planned jointly by Astan Quds Razavi and National Media, will include 60 hours of daily live and pre-recorded broadcasts in seven languages through national and international channels”.
Houshmand highlighted that the cooperation with National Media has resulted in noticeable growth in media initiatives.
“Programs such as those for Ten Days of Karamat, the last ten days of Safar, Nowruz, and Ramadan hold particular significance”, he added.
This year, the center has prepared a variety of domestic, international, and virtual programs, categorized into radio and television content. Over 30 channels will cover the events, utilizing five production studios, mobile units, and 35 cameras, including robotic, mobile, and fixed cameras.
A significant focus this year is Quranic programs, such as morning recitation sessions broadcast from Imam Khomeini Portico on Channel One and other international channels.
Afternoon recitation sessions, youth-focused Quran readings, and the Quranic program "Nafahat", filmed at Mashhad’s historic Do-Dar School, are key highlights.
Nightly events, including supplication recitations and Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Destiny, Ramadan 19, 21 and 23) ceremonies, will also be broadcast live. Programs like "Dar al-Ilm," featuring deep interviews with Islamic scholars, aim to enhance audience understanding of Islamic teachings.
Additionally, social campaigns such as "Light Iftar" and "Ziyarat Awaliyah" (first-time pilgrimage) are being promoted.
The "Panaah" Iftar program and international broadcasts, including "Dawat" on Turkey’s Channel 14 and other global productions, extend the spiritual outreach to Muslims worldwide.
Live broadcasts from Imam Reza Shrine will also be available via the Imam Reza YouTube channel throughout Ramadan.
