A commemorative ceremony for martyrs of resistance got underway at Imam Reza shrine, northeast Iran, coinciding with the funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din in Beirut, Lebanon.

According to Hoj. Hossein Shariatinejad, Deputy of Islamic Ideology Dissemination Department at Astan Quds Razavi, “The ceremony took place on February 23 to sympathize with the grieving people of Lebanon”.

Participants began their march from Basij Square to Imam Khomeini Portico in Imam Reza shrine to join the symbolic funeral procession.

The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a performance by the Shahid Eduardo Anili choir, themed ‘Jerusalem, the First Qibla of Muslims’.

Messages from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution were read, and speeches were given, highlighting the valor of the resistance front.

Attendees waved Iranian, Palestinian, and Hezbollah flags, chanting “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” showing their unity and determination.
